Cloudburst

Bus to the airport in the pouring rain,
Every little ditch brim-full with water.
Rainstreaks make horizontal lines
Jaggedy, like sweater patterns.

Korean women are so tiny!
Jimi sits looking out the window,
And I, a great hulking foreigner,
Watch her watching the rain.
